I decided to run the BUPA Great North Run to give me purpose and focus after losing my Mom in June this year.  Mom loved children and nothing made her heart sing more than the smile and laughter of a child.  Along with tons of cuddles and showers of kisses. So I'd like to make her proud that we're raising funds for the children who attend Great Ormond Street Hospital, a charity that does such wonderful things for children.  This has been made even extra special when Danny offered to be my "wing man" and will be supporting me throughout this challenge helping me not only to finish the race but also to achieve our fundraising goals.  Thanks Dan - luv ya!  Although I'm sure Dan will with be walking or towin me along lol.
