I first ran the Great North Run in 2013 after my Mom passed away tragically in June of the same year.  I ran again in 2014 only to find that I finished the race as the first ever millionth finisher in any mass entry race across the world, making a place for myself in the history books.  Truly an amazing accolade.  Not only am I proud to have been the millionth finisher, but prorepresent the 999,999 runners that went before me.  And truly a proud Northern lass representing a fantastic Northern charity like Butterwick!

I travelled to Auckland New Zealand to run the Round the Bay's fun run that inspired Brendan Foster to create the Great Nothrth Run, I will be very humbled and thrilled to run the Round the Bay's race on 8th March 2015 and hope you will help me support not only the Great North Run, but Round the Bay's and help me raise funds for Butterwick too!
