We want every new parent to understand why it is so important that their baby's head is measured. An estimated, 1 in every 770 babies will develop hydrocephalus each year. 'Get-A-Head' will help those with symptoms get treated sooner.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 2nd July I will be taking part in the Salomon Serpent Trail running 20km across the South Down's from Midhurst to Petersfield and in doing so I hope to raise awareness and money to help fund research and support for children and families affected by Hydrocephalus.

Hydrocephalus is the build up of fluid in the cavities (ventricles) deep within the brain.  The excess fluid increases the size of the ventricles and puts pressure on the brain.

Any donation is greatly appreciated to help the charity which you can find out more about at https://harry-hat.org/hydrocephalus/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity, so it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
