Help support those fighting a daily battle with diabetes. High blood sugars, low blood sugars, feeling tired, struggling with mental health due to the constant feeling of being unwell. Having to monitor what you eat and ensure you take the correct dosage of insulin to counteract what you have just eaten. Numerous finger pricks to monitor your blood sugar levels through out the day. These are just a few of the issues that diabetics (especially Type 1) go through every day of their lives.

 I am taking on the challenge (running doesn't come easy for me) of  running the Great North Run to raise money for this worthy cause, and I hope that you will show your support  which may help to find  a breakthrough in research to find an alternative way of living and surviving this life changing illness.
