Story
Acoustic magic was originally put together to help musicians, venues and charities.
As it is the 10 year anniversary of "Acoustic Magic" we wanted to make it special and thought a great way to do this was to take our buskers show back out on the road. Do what we originally set off doing and visit lots of different venues and areas. Sharing life, having fun and helping people at the same time.
Each show will be in aid of a different cause.
We will invite anybody who would like to perform to simply show up. Each event will be held "Open mic" style. We will have a full PA set up with a soundperson.
There will be an open guitar case ready for donations to the chosen charity. A justgiving page will be set up for those who cant attend ( link to be added below)
This event is to be held on the 13th February at The Crafty Cock at Billingham TS23 2RL at 7.30pm
The charity is Age UK which combined the operations of the previously separate charities Age Concern England and Help the Aged to form the UK's largest charity for older people.
Most people will feel lonely at some point in their lives. It’s a deeply personal experience that - in most cases - will thankfully pass. Sadly, 2.65m older people feel they have no one to turn to for help and around 3.9m older people consider TV to be their main form of company. Donating to this page will help the national Age UK to continue providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for older people facing later life alone.
