Like most people around the world, the TTG Media team has been horrified by events in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion.

A free and open travel industry has always been a driver of democracy across the globe, and TTG has established this page in a bid to urge the UK and Ireland travel industry to raise urgent funds for the thousands of refugees driven out of their homes by this war.

All funds collected by the TTG Ukraine Crisis Appeal will go directly to the The Ukraine Crisis Appeal run by the British Red Cross, which is working to ensure its funds support those most affected.

Your donation will be used to reach people in urgent need, including:

• Providing food, first aid, clean water, shelter support, warm clothing, hygiene parcels and medicines
• Supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities
• Supporting firefighters and civil protection units
• Training people in life-saving first aid
• Helping families stay in contact with each other
• Educating people on the risks of explosives
• Repairing vital infrastructure
• Helping to repair homes, healthcare centres, schools and community centres
