This winter the seals around our coastline have had it tough! British Divers Marine Life Rescue have been flat out rescuing and rehabing seal pups. As a charity they have very limited resources and rely on their volunteers. No sick pup is left unassisted and with a huge increase in call outs finding sanctuaries for the sick animals has become more and more of a challenge. The charity now really really needs all the help it can get to sustain this upward trend and is running a Seal Appeal to aid this.

Back in 2013 some of you may remember I did a little walk around the Cornish Coast - just over 300 miles in total. When I wasn't wild camping I was being met by lovely people who walked with me, fed me and let me kip at their houses. I was really proud to raise lots of cash to help our seal friends who need all the help they can get. However even more astounding is what an incredible network of awesome people we have who really care about our Marine Environment in Cornwall. I could not have done it without you!!

SO I am seriously hoping I can call upon those people again and others who are keen ( as many people as possible). I want them to join me in another walk.... this time a shorter walk but just as difficult.... I want to spend two days walking around the coastline of the Lands End/Penwith Peninsula. From St Ives to Mousehole it is 38 miles, chop this in half and we will need to cover 19 miles a day over two days. This is no ordinary 19 miles the coastal path is very up and down, especially down there and this will be a real challenge. Together we can raise much more cash than I can alone, please get involved, even if you only want to do one day or half a day anything goes!! Let's help BDMLR keep saving those seals and other marine mammals.

If you want to join me please go to the main seal appeal page and start your own fundraising page. Make sure you post this on facebook and share with friends. Let's see how much we can raise for this amazing cause!!
