Story
My mum is living with Alzheimer’s disease. She’s still here, still herself in so many ways, but the disease has a way of stealing little pieces at a time — memories, confidence, independence. Watching someone you love navigate that loss is heartbreaking, and it’s something no family should have to face alone.
That’s why I’m taking on this trek. Every step is for my mum, and for all families living with Alzheimer’s every day. The money raised will help fund vital research, better care, and support for those affected — now and in the future.
So trek is about hope: hope for treatments, hope for understanding, and hope that one day Alzheimer’s won’t take so much from the people we love.
