My very beloved Great Nanna suffered from a form of Dementia in her later years and so the ability to have charities such as Dementia UK is incredibly important! They provide dedicated nurses to those suffering and give a degree of help which is not always available and in some cases understood.

Alongside therealjlow blog I created the shop to challenge myself to knit 12 headbands before Christmas and have them all adopted to good homes! My Nanna, Rosina was an incredibly talented craftswomen when it came to all things sewing. From creating over 50 embroidered teddy bears which were given and donated to family, friends and charities to being able to knit perfect rows even with the beginnings of dementia and also not looking and making conversation. She has continually inspired me throughout my life so please give generously for those who might not have the same support that she did.
