Throughout the Winter of 2019/20 I have put in a serious amount of training in preparation for a very demanding Triathlon and Time-trialling season. Due to the current circumstances of COVID-19, all events have been either postponed or cancelled. With a high level of fitness and determination I came to the decision that I needed a new goal to focus and dedicate my training towards. On the 15th June, it will be my 18th Birthday, and it is very unlikely that I will be enjoying this special occasion with my family and friends, or even enjoying my first legal drink in a pub. I am therefore going to make my 18th birthday a special one, that I will always remember, by running my first ever marathon distance for the NHS.
