Story
The Learning Disability Services at Turning Point Scotland are marking Learning Disability Week with a sponsored walk to raise funds for Humanity &Inclusion.
We worked out there is 2000 miles ( as the crow flies) to Ukraine from Glasgow and with an average of 2000 steps per mile we are aiming as a service to walk or roll 4million steps in May!
The theme for this years SCLD Leaning Disability Week is ' We all have Human Rights'.
Humanity & Inclusion is an independent charity working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work tirelessly alongside disabled and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. Last year we supported millions of people around the world, providing rehabilitation, artificial limbs, inclusion activities and psychological assistance. With your help, we can continue to provide this vital support for years to come!
