TWO MEN AND A BIKE - (Thursday 18th - Saturday 20th June)

We will cycle on a static bike, alternating two hours on and two hours off the bike, for a total continuous period of 48 hours! (5pm Thursday – 5pm Saturday)

During this two day period we will be continuously on view to the public as we eat, sleep and cycle in full view of the New Look shop windows and frontage facing King St.

So please dig deep. No matter how small your donation, your support for our two different but equally challenging events will be gratefully appreciated.

More importantly, pop down and cheers us on.

Why are we doing this crazy challenge????

We are embarking on an exciting cycling challenge in November to raise much needed cash for Jersey Hospice Care. www.jerseyhospicecare.com.

The challenge will involve cycling for up to 8 hours per day for 7 days over some rough terrain and will involve extremes of temperatures, climate and altitude.

On Saturday 14th November 2009 we will set off to Ecuador where we will cycle through dense tropical rainforest , over the Andes and down into the steaming jungle and banana plantations of the Pacific coast.

We will travel through every type of landscape and through most weather conditions. In the jungle it is humid and hot with occasional downpours and high up in the Andes it can be cloudy and cold, whereas on the Pacific Coast is is hot and very humid. Altitude sickness is certainly a concern.

Needless to say, we will be training hard over the coming months to prepare for this challenge.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us.

So please sponsor us now.

Many thanks for your support.
