Tyson was Elspeth's guide dog. He was a Retriever-German Shepherd cross born on the 5th July 2014 and qualified on his second birthday! They met in 2016 and have been taking care of each other ever since. Unfortunately, on the 7th September 2021 Tyson suddenly died. 

Those of you who knew Tyson will have loved his energetic and cheeky personality. You will also have known how much he meant to Elspeth. Not only was he her eyes, safely taking her where she needed to go, he brightened up her life and that of those around her, she is devastated at losing him. 

In lieu of flowers we are giving people the opportunity to support Guide Dogs, the charity that made it possible for Elspeth to have Tyson. The charity breed and train guide dogs and pair them with owners. Unfortunately at present there is a significant waiting list for new dogs. Anything we can do to help this amazing charity will help support others like Elspeth be given a life-changing, four pawed friend.
