The team at Edward Jacobs Music desperately wanted to support and contribute through their work to this worthwhile cause. A group of musicians, vocalists and members of two choirs have come together to present "A Musical Marathon!" This one-off event is to raise much needed funds for our Ukrainian friends who are suffering so much strife at this point in time. 

Intense conflict in the Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of all civilians across the country, causing millions to flee. Homes, businesses and schools have been destroyed,  essential services have been hit and families have been sadly displaced and separated. Many people have been needlessly killed or severely injured. The Money raised from our Musical Marathon will be used in so many ways to help. 

Edward Jacobs Music is supporting and raising funds for the DEC charities and their local partners. These are based in the Ukraine and across the border in neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people who are fleeing, with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care. Please come along and enjoy the many musical offerings that we are presenting during the day. We will welcome any amount, but just to give you some idea of costs...£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month, £50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm, £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
