Winton Salvation Army
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
Winton Salvation Army have been involved as a church and centre for over twenty years with the Salvation Army in Ukraine.

Story

Between July 21st & August 1st 2018, myself (Luke Kendall) and Christopher Keane, are volunteering to carry out building work in the Uhniv City Home for the Elderly in Western Ukraine.

We will be part of a larger team, which alongside the building work, will also offer medical assistance to the residents of the home and neighbouring community, as well as run two children's clubs in Salvation Army Centres in the cities of Lviv and Poroshkovo. These clubs will provide fun and fellowship for many children in extremely deprived areas of the cities.

As part of our fundraising, on Saturday 7th April 2018, both Christopher and myself will be throwing ourselves out of a perfectly good airplane, several thousand feet above the ground, as part of a Tandem (Chris) and Solo (Luke) sponsored parachute jump.

Any and all financial donations towards our cause would be greatly appreciated, both by ourselves, and those we shall be helping in the Ukraine.

Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting this extremely worthwhile cause. Through us, and the wider Vision of Hope MIssion Team, you will be helping to bring humanitarian and practical support to improve the lives and circumstances of people in extremely deprived areas.
