Every pound donated by the UK public will be matched by the UK Government up to £20 million.

Barnes RFC is known for its spirit, its passion and its commitment to its community and causes.

We are shocked and deeply disturbed at the unimaginable suffering of people in the Ukraine following the invasion of Russian forces  People have been injured and lives are being lost. Families have been separated with loved ones stranded in Ukraine - including families at our club. 

On 6 March 2022 in support of one of our families, the Ovchinniks, from Barnes U14s,  we will be collecting essential supplies to support displaced Ukrainians - families who have had to leave everything behind.  These supplies will be driven from our clubhouse in Barnes to the Ukraine next week.

In parallel we are raising funds here. All proceeds will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Refugees - The DEC fundraising is helping to feed refugees and keep them warm in desperate times and sub zero temperatures. Any contribution you make will be doubled by the UK government up to a total of £20 million. Please give what you can:

• £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
• £50 could provide blankets for four families
• £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
