Midnight Walk 2020 · 12 September 2020 ·

A group of St Catherine's Hospice heroes are making every step count as they walk the star lit Horsham route to help the hospice be there for terminally ill people as life comes full circle.

Story

My mum and I cared for my dad , Neil McLachlan , at home with the help of St Catherine's Hospice .They were an amazing support for us , always a caring and understanding person at the end of the phone with wealth of knowledge and advice. Due to them we fulfilled his wish to stay at home . Sadly he passed away on 9th March , but very peacefully and with us ( my brother and sister too ) all in bed together which he would of loved.

Sadly they can only help one in three local people who need them  We both want to do something positive at the moment so are taking part in a 13 mile midnight walk together to raise some much needed funding for them to reach their goal of being able to help all that need it.

St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley is  a local charity with big ambition. St Catherine’s vision is for a world where everyone facing death and bereavement can do so informed, supported and pain free. Their team of experts are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when they need support the most, and they rely on donations to be able to offer their pioneering care.

Please give as generously as you can. Every donation , no matter the size , makes us smile , which is much needed at this difficult time.

Thank you

Val and Zoe
