I’m hoping to raise much needed funds for this amazing kidney patient  charity. They provide honest practical support, giving both emotional and financial support to kidney patients and their families as well as tirelessly campaigning to improve care services across the UK. As a kidney nurse for more than 30 years now I have seen first hand how KCUK can make a real difference to a patients lifelong kidney journey. 

I have to be honest here and say that walking 50kms in one day is an extremely daunting prospect and will definitely be an ultra epic challenge. Luckily my beloved number one son will be there to support me every step. I guess I better start some training soon!
