Fundraising for Children on the Edge

Nordic Walking helped me get back on my feet after two surgeries a few years ago and enabled to make some great friends along the way and improve my fitness. The Chichester Half Marathon event (for runners) on Sunday 6th October, is also offering a 10-mile walking route for Nordic Walkers so this is a great opportunity for me to stretch out and hopefully raise some funds for the charity Children on the Edge.
My inbox is often active with sponsorship requests for people doing amazing things (running marathons, climbing mountains and cycling for hundreds of miles) so I feel a bit of a fraud asking for sponsorship for just walking 10 miles but every little helps and I am really hoping to push myself and do the 10 miles in under 2.5 hours. There is a rather large hill in the middle of it! Honestly!
I would really love it if as many people as possible can sponsor me just £5 as it will all add up and the charity will be so grateful.
