Rough sleeping has increased by more than 150% in the past 3 years with now more than 128,000 being children. Having somewhere warm to sleep and having a hot meal is something so many of us take for granted and yet every one of us could easily be in the same position. Ex-Service men, people who have had their business collapse, or people experiencing a family breakdown have found themselves on the streets through no fault of their own. Change into Action is a coordinated approach between West Midlands Combined Authority, Birmingham Council, and several homeless charities to helping take people off the streets and create a support network that provides opportunities for people to get back on their feet.
Climbing Snowdon has been a personal challenge for 2 families who have been good friends for a very long time and want all monies raised to support the valuable work these charities do for those that are less fortunate than ourselves.
