WHY ARE WE HERE?

The number of people sleeping rough on our streets has been increasing since the Covid-19 pandemic. The knock-on effect is increased pressure on support services across the city that help people sleeping rough; teams that are committed to working with individuals to provide accommodation, hot meals, access to medical treatment and other critical support to help people to move away from the streets for good.

Without a network of specialist street teams and dedicated charities, it is difficult for any help to make long term changes.

PUT YOUR CHANGE INTO ACTION

Your donation will personally benefit a person sleeping rough. Trusted local charities and street teams will help individuals sleeping rough to identify those things that can really make a change to their personal circumstances, they will then receive and make use of those funds. Donations are processed through the Just Giving site. BVSC is responsible for administering and allocating all funds. These funds will be designated solely for Change into Action. BVSC monitor the level of funds available and spent, and provide reporting as required.
