I will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland on Saturday 28th May 2011. I'm hoping, through donations and sponsorship, to raise funds for both The British Heart Foundation and The Great North Air Ambulance Service. Myself and my dear friend Mitch had planned to tackle Ben Nevis together one day, however, Mitch passed away suddenly at the beginning of March this year so the climb and all funds raised will be dedicated to his memory and I will be scattering some of his ashes at the summit.

I've been overwhelmed so far with the support of my colleagues and customers at MKM Building Supplies (Peterlee), and now I would like to appeal to you all to give as much as you can spare as any contribution, large or small, would be very much appreciated. All funds raised will be split equally between both charities.
