Story
At last, after 8 years of trying to get a place in the London Marathon, I will finally be pounding the streets of London on 23 April 2013. By now some of you may know that my eldest daughter, Hannah, has been suffering from Anorexia for the last 2 years. This is a chronic illness which has a devastating effect on both the sufferer and the family. However, with the help of the local community team and the Phoenix Centre (an eating disorder unit in Cambridge), we have all been provided with the education and support we need to help us to move forward and see "the light at the end of the tunnel"! In recognition of this support, that we as a family have received, and for the help that Hannah has been provided, I am fundraising for The Phoenix Centre. So please provide me with the motivation to keep putting one foot in front of the other on 21st April by donating on this page and giving The Phoenix Centre a big "Thank You" from us all!
