RED January is here to help people support their mental health with physical activity. In partnership with Mind, the leading mental health charity we will be supporting people across Norfolk and Waveney to kick start their 2019 in the positive way.

Story

For forty years Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind have been delivering a range of information and services to help people suffering from mental distress live full and independent lives. We provide one to one support, social groups and workshops for young people, adults and carers. We run a residential housing service, enabling residents to live as independently as possible in a supportive and homely environment. We also run a half acre community garden project and provide mental health education and promotion to individuals, schools, colleges and businesses. This January, Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind, will be supporting people across Norfolk and Waveney to kick-start their 2019 in the most positive way by getting active every single day, to support their mental wellbeing. Whether it's running 5k, or walking to work a new way, a morning swim or just taking the bike for a spin. All funds raised will help them to continue their vital work in the community.
