Lindsey, Ian, Jay & myself completed the British Gas Great North Swim on Saturday 15th June 2013 to raise money for Victim Support Homicide Services. This is a charity that is close to our hearts after losing my sister, Vicky when she was murdered in 2009.  They do some amazing work supporting families affected by homicide at the most difficult of times.

The Great North Swim was a one-mile open water swim in Lake Windemere in cold, choppy conditions which made it more difficult.  The support from friends and family on the shoreline and everyone who has donated over the last few weeks definitely helped to spur us on!
