Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sadly a week before the 2017 marathon, I managed to trip and damage my knee on a final training run( I kid you not) so after tears, an A&E visit and a tough decision, I have decided to defer my place on the Brighton marathon to 2018.

So on April 15th 2018 I will finally be running the Brighton marathon.

This time I will be running in aid of PACT , a charity based in Sheffield, which supports children with lukemina and tumors and their families. The work they do is pivotal to so many lives. Having lost family members to cancer and had those close to me affected by the illness. I can only imagine, how difficult life can be for these children and there loved ones.

PACT is their not only to provide vital care but also support services for families & holidays for those children and teenagers who have completed treatment or are recently bereaved.

Those of you who know me will understand that whilst I am an avid football fan. Sport has never been my strong point & I am more partial to a glass of wine or G&T, then a healthy smoothie. I still have no idea what split pacing is and running clubs terrify me. Most of the time I can be found shopping or socialising. However, from now to April , I will become some sort of runner!!! And ensure I get these short legs round the course.

Thank you for your support it is very much appreciated!!
