Uncharacteristically, I've entered a half-marathon.  More characteristically, training has been in fits and starts and it'll probably take me a long time and breaks will likely be included.

I still remember my Gran's MacMillan nurse, Debbie, and how important she was to both of my grandparents when my lovely grandmother was in hospital.  Everyone you speak to who has had a family member battling cancer will tell you how grateful they are for Macmillan nurses.  They're very special and deserve tonnes more money to help them provide even more support.
