I'm running this year for the MS Society. Both my sister and sister in law suffer from this debilitating condition so I am really keen to raise some money to help them and fellow sufferers. OMG.....where did that come from?!! I had a great run yesterday in what turned out to be perfect conditions for running (11 degrees, breeze behind, odd shower to cool you down, perfect!!). And what's more I ended up bettering my best time for the GNR, managing to stagger round in a shade under 1 hour 45 mins (1 hour 44 mins 50 secs to be precise). I suspect it is something to do with the stone less weight I am carrying these days as it certainly wasn't to do with my training programme!! As ever a great day in the Toon with my Geordie kinsfolk doing us proud with their warm welcome.
