We Recently found a Stray cat near our brewery. He was beaten up covered in patches and was in a sorry state. We picked him up, Took him to the vets to get checked over and checked for a chip (He did not have one.) Then Took him home to our Brewery. 

We got him back to health and promptly fell in love with him. We named him Lord Barrington. Barry quickly became our favourite member of staff and Dan our Brewer made that awesome picture of him. 

We decided to Brew a beer in his honour. Waifs & Strays 5.7% Cherry Gose. 

To Coincide with the beers release we wanted to raise some money for the care of animals at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The Rake in borough market agreed this was a great idea and offered their bar for an event. We love Beer and Cats so drop a little money for the animals and come and raise a glass in there honour on Thursday 14th November - The Rake Borough Market - 6pm
