Story

Wales Supporters will be playing two games to help raise funds for The John Hartson Foundation and Gôl, in memory of Gary Speed who played 85 times for our country, captained the team on 39 occasions and was the manager of our team. Sadly Gary passed away last November and this is a chance for football fans to pay their own tribute while helping raise funds for the John Hartson Foundation. Gift Aid donations donated will help the Supporters Charity Gôl, while donations from the Wales Supporters Team players will be split 50/50 between the two good causes.

The supporters team played a team from the FAW and Football Trust on Friday 24th February at Merthyr, losing 3-1 while on Wednesday 29th February the team will play against a team of Costa Rica fans at the Leckwith International Sports Stadium, kick off 3.30pm.

It is also an opportunity for any Wales fans to make donations of their own in memory of Gary, who will always be in our memories.
