Story
Kiko was just seven weeks old when he passed away, but the impact he had on us will stay with us forever.
I met him while my sister was cat sitting in a multi-cat household, where she noticed he wasn't eating, could barely walk and was becoming weaker by the second.
She brought him back to her flat where herself, her fiancé and I did everything we could to help. We tried feeding him kitten milk and keeping him comfortable, but he deteriorated rapidly and sadly passed away that night.
His death broke our heart. No kitten should have to suffer like that.
Kiko's short life is why I'm taking part in the RSPCA Walk to Remember. Taking place on National Pet Memorial Day (13 September) Me, Charlie and Jessie will be walking to celebrate the life of Kiko while fundraising to help other animals in need.
Too many cats and kittens still suffer from neglect, and charities like the RSPCA rely on donations to investigate welfare concerns, rescue vulnerable animals and provide the care they desperately need.
So, please help us honour Kiko's memory by donating and supporting the RSPCA's incredible work.
