Story
Dear Friends,
I will be taking part in the AMA Charity Challenge, [www.mkacc.org.uk] on 28 April 2013. I will be running 10k and earnestly request your sponsorship.
This years race will be in Willen Lake, Milton Keynes. The following charities are supported this year:
§ Humanity First
§ Great Ormond Street Hospital
§ Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
§ Macmillan Cancer Support
§ Save the Children
§ RHN
§ NSPCC
§ Barnardo’s
§ British Heart Foundation
§ St Davids Charity
§ AEGM
§ CLIC Sargent
This year, I have opted to raise money for CLIC Sargent [www.clicargent.org.uk].
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. They are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
I am a very keen supporter of this charity because they continue to work on these crises and emergencies long after they have left the news headlines.
I am hopeful that my fundraising efforts will qualify for a ‘matched fundraising’ scheme provide by my employer, which will double any kind donations from my friends and family.
I trust that you will agree that this is a very worthy cause. I look forward to your support and thank you for your donation.
