I have selected the My Name'5 Doddy Foundation in memory of Martin Dean who lost his life to Motor Neurone Disease last year at the age of just 53. I only knew Martin for a short while but he was a good friend who lived his life to the full and about whom no-one ever had a bad word to say. I met Martin through an on-line rugby forum. Rugby is an incredible sport for bringing people together. If you don't know the story of Doddy Weir, an ex-Scotland rugby international who is also fighting MND then I would urge you to visit the charity's website as he is truly an inspirational character. In the spirit of rugby therefore I have chosen to support this charity alongside Cancer Research.

Please, if you are able to spare anything however small to fight either MND or Cancer Research (see my other page for details) then I would be very grateful.
