Thanks for supporting my fundraising.  On Friday, 24th September 2021, I have the privilege of taking part in the Macmillan ride of their lives race at York racecourse.  I'm a late starter to the group of 12 riders as I was only recently given a chance to take the place of someone who sadly couldn't do it.  Due to covid, the race has been moved to sept instead of its usual meeting in June, so I've still got plenty of time to try and raise as much money as possible for this great cause, and I  am looking forward to the challenge.

Cancer can happen to anyone of us, and I could name so many over
the years who have been touched by it. Sadly, some don’t always make it, one being my uncle, who passed away from throat cancer. Recently, a close friend of mines father was diagnosed with cancer, but thankfully he has recovered and been given the all-clear; but he says he has a lot to thank the Macmillan nurses for over the last couple of years for the wonderful job they do so I think it will be great to raise money for such a worthy charity and All the money raised this year will be used for Mcmillan services in Yorkshire, so that’s fantastic that it will all go to support local people.
