The Balloch Run'n'Park Sport Relief Mile is coming back to Balloch on Saturday the 14th of March 2020 - Start time : 9.30am. Local heroes from West Dunbartonshire will be able to walk, jog or run themselves proud during the Balloch Run'n'Park Sport Relief Mile to raise life-changing money for Sport Relief 2020 by taking part in the 1 Mile or 3 Mile event.
The colourful, cheerful and eager milers will be doing their bit to make a difference to people living across the UK and the world’s poorest communities. Setting off from inside the Main Gates to Balloch Country Park on Balloch Road, the route will pass through/ take in the top sights of Balloch Country Park along with Balloch Castle and the Walled Garden.
Maurice Donohue from West Dunbartonshire AC, which is organising the event , said: “The Balloch Run'n'Park Sport Relief Mile in West Dunbartonshire is here and it’s your time to walk or run yourself proud. From little ones with their mums and dads, to joggers and runners ,there’s something for everyone to make themselves feel proud on this special day.”
Sport Relief is held from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 March 2020 and there are more ways than ever for you to take part. Whether you fundraise with friends and family at home, work or school, you’ll help people living incredibly tough lives. Half of all the money raised by the public is spent in the UK, with the other half used to make a difference in the world’s poorest communities.
