After two years hard training for the GNR 2021 I was gutted to have to make the decision a day before the run to defer my place due to ongoing illness after contracting covid!! It was such a hard decision because I had dreamed of this run and had received so much support from you all. As much as its a bitter pill to swallow it is the right decision and I plan on getting to the start line next year to make up for all your kindness and sponsorship for the Great North Air Ambulance. I will be back so look out for me next year!!
