Story
Due to Whiteley Rotary events having been cancelled or scaled back because of Covid knew we wanted to organise a fun event in December and what better way than to organise a Santa Run.to give back some,' Ho' Ho' Ho' to the community..
Our chosen charity is Wessex Heartbeaat, a local charity dedicated to supporting people living with Cardiac conditions in the Wessex area and beyond.
Among it's services offered is Heartbeat House that providesa 'home from home' for the loved ones of patients undergoing Cardiacand other major surgery and is only 3 minutes walk from the Southampton Gereral hospital,. With 25 bedrooms, some cosy lounges, kitchen areas and bathrooms. this much loved house now requires some TLC and what better way to raise much needed funds than having an event where the whole family can join in the fun.
