Did you know that 1 in 8 Christians around the world are persecuted because of their faith? Every day, they face discrimination, rejection, attack and even murder for choosing to follow Jesus.On 12 September I will have a fantastic opportunity to run in the Great North Run to raise money to bring vital food and aid to those who need it the most. So why am I choosing to do this? Many of these people are excluded from official food aid or even medical treatment after being attacked because of their faith. Women often face another level of discrimination because of their gender. Every £56 I raise could equip a Rapid Response team to bring emergency food aid to a family of persecuted believers.Thanks so much for supporting me!
