We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

I was looking for a new challenge to take on in 2019 and thought it would be a great way to raise some much needed funds for charity in the process!

I have chosen to support Marie Curie and take on their Vietnam Trek in October 2019. I chose to support Marie Curie because I know how important their work is to those living with a terminal illness and their families across Wales. They provide amazing support to those who need it in the hardest time of the life and wouldn't be able to do it without the support of crazy fundraisers like myself in the local area.

The trek involves walking around 90Km over a 5 day period, trekking between 7-8 hours each day. Those who know me will know that the extent of my trek ability is limited to short mountain walks around Wales with friends #ramblingclub. A good start but nothing compared to what I have signed up for with this challenge!

Why sponsor me? Because I am determined to push myself with this challenge not only with my training but to raise as much as I can to help Marie Curie keep doing their valuable work across Wales and the UK.
