I decided to become a volunteer for Wigan & Leigh Hospice as a way of giving back for all the excellent work they have always done. I very quickly saw how all the people involved go above and beyond in their work and care and it is something I am now very proud to be a part of. In doing so I signed up (maybe foolishly) to do this skydive, in the memory of friends & loved ones, some who have suffered and conquered and others who have  passed due to the awful illness that is cancer, and ultimately to try and raise money for such a worthy cause.
