Story

"Running as an act of Defiance”

Over the last 3 weeks, the Ukrainian Nation has been incredibly inspiring with their Spirit, Resolve, Determination and Defiance.

This Sunday, 20th of March, Worcester Athletic Club and Black Pear Joggers are inviting you to run or walk some laps on the athletics track at Nunnery Wood, to help raise much needed funds for the people of Ukraine, from the people of Worcester.

We aim to cover at least 1500 laps of the track between all of us - the distance from Worcester to Kyiv is 1500 miles.

Please join us any time during the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm this Sunday, to run or walk a few laps of the track and donate some money (or encourage others to sponsor you) for this very important cause.

A Big Thank You to Nunnery Wood Sports Centre and Freedom Leisure, for letting us use the track free of charge and supporting our Ukraine Fundraising Event.
