Mental illness is something I hold very close to my heart. Our friends, family, colleagues and people in general are so important to each  and everyone of us. Unknowingly and most likely one of your friends,family or even next door neighbour is battling a mental illness. And I say battling, as that is what it is- a battle, a constant battle with your own very mind. I don't think anybody deserves to or should live life like that. When I was depressed and and severely anxious, I chose not to share it with anybody. In hindsight, my experience with depression/anxiety could of been less worst if I did tell my friends or family. This is why I want to encourage anybody going through any sort of mental illness, to please please tell somebody and don't be afraid to reach out for help. A problem shared, is a problem halved :) 

I look forward to being an ambassador for Mind Charity and Trekking Mount Kilimanjaro   for anybody is going through or anybody who knows somebody who has a mental illness.
