Story

Hello, my name is Yasmin and this is our SWIM CHALLENGE…… on the 11th September 2021, we will be fundraising for an amazing grassroots charity, the Ducks and Drakes Cancer Trust. The challenge is to complete a tough 5km swim on the River Adur to Shoreham-by-Sea. The route will involve negotiating the sandbanks & bridges in open water - hopefully we will not run aground! This will be the furthest open water distance I have done to date which is an amazing feat for myself but made all the more meaningful knowing that it could be raising money for such a brilliant cause.

This charity is close to my heart as it has supported a dear friend of mine, Amy, who has been battling cancer for several years. If would like to know more about Amy's story her gofundme page is https://www.gofundme.com/f/fp6w2?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=m_pd+share-sheet

I know that every little helps with this small charity, so any donations tiny or large make an enormous difference and would be greatly appreciated by me, everyone who works there and every person they help!

Fingers crossed it all goes swimmingly!!!
