Cyclone Idai has swept through Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, leaving behind a trail of destruction, killing hundreds of people and affecting an estimated 2.6 million people. This is the official DEC Appeal.

Story

This term we have been learning about Africa, and how lucky we are in Brighton to have the infrastructure and resources to live a comfortable life.

We have learnt about how many people in Africa are not as lucky as us, and have been upset to see the effect Cyclone Idai has had on millions of families in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe.

We want to raise money to support them in whatever way we can, and will be completing a sponsored walk along the seafront. Please give generously to this worthwhile cause.
