I am dyeing my hair from natural brown to all over Yellow and Blue to fundraise for the DEC Ukraine Appeal and to honour the colours of the Ukranian Flag.

The plan was to do so on Wed 23/03 but this was delayed to 07 of April due to having Covid. This will require a lot of bleach, hair dye and around five hours of patience! 

The idea developed slowly starting from wearing the colours of the Ukranian flag on a day when I could not go to a demonstration as I had to work. It was my way of paying honour to where my heart was while I was working and it was also a reminder for my students to do what they could for refugee relief. 
I kept wearing the yellow and blue in the last two weeks increasingly often for the very same reasons and then it hit me that I could turn this into a fundraiser if I went the whole way into dying my hair!
