We organise disaster relief worldwide to be there for people in desperate need

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Yoga & Meditation for Nepal Charity Evening JustGiving page.

Like everyone else I was horrified to hear of the devastating earthquake in Nepal.  Inspired by my Nepalese friend Kishori's immediate call to action on Facebook to donate money, clothes and blankets to the affected area I decided to bring our yoga community together, not only to raise funds and much needed supplies but to show our love and solidarity for those in a situation of loss and desperation.

The fundraising event will take place on Friday 22nd May from 7.00 - 9.30pm at The Bingham Hotel, Richmond who have kindly given us the space for free so 100% of the money raised can go to the DEC Nepalese Earthquake Appeal.

The programme includes a slow, juicy Vinyasa Flow with me, Justine Evans, will lead a guided channeling meditation to send love, light and support to those affected and Sonya Kanchan-Lal will treat us to a blissful gong bath.

Space is limited at Heart Twickenham so to secure your space please make a donation through this page with a SUGGESTED donation of £20.  I know lots of you have probably already donated money elsewhere so if this isn't feasible for you then please just give as much as you can afford.  I will then confirm your attendance and final details.  Obviously if you wish to donate more then that is fine too!

IF YOU'RE DONATING BUT AREN'T ABLE TO ATTEND PLEASE JUST LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BOX! THANK YOU!

Kishori will be at the event to tell us about the relief effort from the Nepalese community here in London and we would love you to bring ONE of the following life saving items with you, if you can afford to do so:

Medicine
Tents
Sleeping bags
Blankets
Water proof clothing
Women's sanitary products
Water purifying tablets
Medicine
Face masks
Surgical gloves
These items will be sent via cargo to Nepal in the coming weeks and will go straight to those who need it. If you're not able to attend the fundraising evening you can still donate via this page and bring any of the items in the list above to one of my classes throughout May, my timetable details are available on my website www.amandawilkesyoga.com. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
