Story
From midnight on Sat 7th March to midnight on Sun 8th March, Youthscape are going to walk 1 million steps for Pieta House.
The young people of Youthscape and staff have decided to take on the One million step challenge in an effort to raise awareness for Mental Health and suicide prevention.
Every 40 seconds someone in the world takes their own life, therefore raising awareness and funds for charities like Pieta house is crucial.
Youthscape want to get the message out there that there is help available for anyone with mental health challenges, and that no-one should have to suffer alone and in silence.
Youthscape are going to document their days challenge and keep followers updated, so please follow us on the day and give our young people and staff the encouragement and support for this tough but very rewarding 24 hour challenge.
So please share and if you can make a donation.
Pieta' vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance. By supporting us you will allow us to strive to make this a reality. Without your support we would not have been able to give hope to over 50,000 people since we first opened our doors in 2006.All of our services (one-to-one counselling, 24 hour helpline, SBLO Service, Training and Education) are provided free of charge. This is only possible because of you.
