Story
In February 2016 I am planning to take on my biggest challenge yet, The Yukon Arctic Ultra, 100 miles across Canada's frozen North . (http://www.arcticultra.de/en/) This is classed as the world’s toughest and coldest ultra race. I will be competing on foot and will have 72 hours to complete 100 miles from Whitehorse to Braeburn, with temperatures rarely reaching above -20 and dropping well below -40 degrees overnight. I will be pulling a sled carrying all my gear and will possibly have one or two nights camping out in the arctic conditions. Having competed in similar endurance events, I am aware of the challenge I am faced with and I feel this is the perfect opportunity to raise money for a local charity.
