Desperate times call for desperate measures!  Shine A Light is a registered charity run wholly by volunteers to support families affected by childhood cancer.  Funds have depleted to a level that could result in them losing the family Centre they have worked so hard to achieve. So as a mother and daughter team, Yvette and Laura, would like to secure funding towards keeping the Centre running.  

How?  Being bold, by going bald!

When? Boxing Day 2020 – due to COVID restrictions, the  “shave-off” will now be on Christmas day!

Shine A Light Support Service support families affected by childhood cancer in Coventry and Warwickshire. We run a family centre with services including; open house drop in sessions, teen social group, activity days, day trips, home visits, counselling and therapy sessions. Each family affected by childhood cancer will face wide reaching and life changing effects, commonly struggling psychologically, financially, with education and with isolation. Thanks for helping us continue to build and maintain the provision of our services.
