My mum Heather was diagnosed last year with breast cancer. We were lucky, she had a mammogram in August which identified a lump, an appointment in early September to take a sample, and we knew it was breast cancer by mid-September.  After an operation and radiotherapy my mum is on the road to recovery. 

However, not everyone diagnosed with cancer has a story with a happy ending so supporting Macmillan will help us to ensure there is support for those who need care through the most frightening experience of their lives. 

I would like to raise £400 - any donation is welcome to help me get there over the next 18weeks.
